Dr. Ingrid Liu is the owner and director of Progressive Health Primary Care. She has been practicing primary care family medicine for over 20 years. Until 2014 she practiced as a partner in a traditional primary care clinic and as a physician in large multi-specialty organization. While her love of medicine continued, over that time she spent more and more time dealing with regulations and rules of health insurance companies and less time taking care of patients.
In 2014 Dr. Liu was recruited to open the first office in Chicagoland a concierge medicine practice. In 2020 Dr. Liu transitioned her practice to Progressive Health Primary Care, a direct primary care practice. Now she can devote more time to patient care without having to spend time dealing with insurance companies myriad rules and administrative burden.
