Healthcare Email Marketing

Healthcare email marketing is a very effective way to reach patients and referral sources. Some disagree because they hate getting emails. If that’s you, here’s what we say - not everyone is like you. People do open emails and read them. Here's a video from us to help you decide if email campaigns should be a part of your marketing plan.

Why is healthcare email marketing effective?

Helps build know - like - trust

Email campaigns are an example of consistent marketing. You need consistency for marketing to work. It’s easy to create email campaigns that educate potential patients about your practice. When done tastefully and sent out at a good cadence, an email campaign helps you become more recognizable. When that person is then looking for the services you offer, you have a leg up.

Reminds patients and referral sources about you

Out of sight and out of mind is something every practice faces. A periodic email is a simple way to remind your patients and referral sources that you’re still in practice, still good at what you do, and still trustworthy to stay with and recommend to others.

Has a great return on investment

Different studies quote different returns on investment, but the most common statistic we see is that you’ll get $40+ for every $1 spent. Even if that’s really $5 for every $1 spent, it’s still worth it. You don’t have to spend much time. For example, if you had your current patient list in Constant Contact ($20/month for up to 500 contacts) with each patient’s birthday, you could create one birthday card each year, then send it out automatically to each patient on their birthday. 15 minutes each year to make every patient feel good while reminding them of you.

Drives traffic to your website

Emails can easily be posted on your website as is or repurposed. For example, in our newsletters we always put in a link to a blog, a new treatment, a new staff member...we find something relevant. Every click we get drives traffic to our website. Those visitors might go to other pages and learn more. On top of that, each website visitor helps Google trust my clients a little more.

Our Healthcare Email Marketing

eNewsletters are a great way to remind patients and referral sources that you’re still here and an expert at what you do. Most clients groan at the thought of newsletters - they feel like they take a long time and are difficult to do regularly. Not with our service. Our eNewsletter service is the easiest service we’ve seen yet. Here’s an example. Instead of writing everything from scratch we reuse existing content on the web and from your website. It takes about 15 minutes.

We're fans of Constant Contact. It's easy to use, versatile, can grow as your practice grows, and is HIPAA compliant. We're a Constant Contact partner. Partners get more training and development in using Constant Contact. We also get access to discounts they offer from time to time that we pass on to you. If you'd like to sign up for Constant Contact click on their logo below.

Healthcare Email Marketing Is Part Of A Consistent Marketing System

We do email marketing for clients who sign up for one of our healthcare marketing systems or as a standalone service. For marketing to meet marketing goals, you must do marketing consistently over time. When we start with a client for a marketing system and agree that we need to add email marketing, we’re 100% in it to win it. However, we don’t take on email marketing as a one-off project. One-off projects are not done consistently over time. We thank you for understanding our choice.
